"Taking inspiration from the numerous lighting stores that have lined the Bowery, the exhibition calls attention to the intersection between galleries and the small businesses which are an invaluable resource to the neighborhood. Through this alignment with small businesses, and stemming from our efforts in 2020 to support rent relief for galleries impacted by the pandemic, NADA aims to build a stronger alliance with other businesses and bring more awareness to the shared interest in a commercial rent stabilization bill"
